DRIVER BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1966, Married
to wife "Lori" in 1990, the marriage has produced two daughters
Gabriella 9 and Tiffani 6. Managing Director of Tank Weld Equipment
Limited. Other interests are Boating, Fishing, Formula 1 and WRC..
Started in Motorsport
in 1987, Co-Driver for Jackie Stewart then Jeffery Panton. Decided
to move into the drivers seat fairly quickly. Has served on the
executive of the Jamaica Motoring Club, and was elected to serve
as chairman for the year 2002.
In his 15 years of Motorsport
has driven several cars. Suzuki swifts, Toyota Corolla, Isuzu
Gemini, Mazda 323, Subaru Imprezza and Mitsubishi mirage's. Made
a serious effort to become Jamaica's champion driver in 2000 driving
a Subaru Imprezza version 6, ended up second due to mechanical
problems on the last day of the December rally.
2002 made another serious
run for the most converted trophy in Jamaican motorsport. One
all six sprint events in class, on his way to being crowned the
2002 Jamaica Motoring Clubs Champion Driver..
John has set his focus
on competing in this years Rally Barbados. This event is being
held on the 7th and 8th of June, and will see approx 90 entries.
